It's a middle man day...

I sing soprano in a southern gospel group. Last night we traveled an hour and a half to sing at a nursing home. It was lots of fun! Let's see if I can find some pics to post of my group!

Oh the weather outside is frightful.....
The ground is blanketed in thick sparkly white this morning. It's beautiful... and I am thankful I work from home! My big and medium boys are already begging to put on their snowsuits and go out and play!

Well, the baby shower that I've been planning for the last 3 months finally took place on Saturday. I love the children's author, Jan Brett. Her new book, Gingerbread Baby was the perfect inspiration for a December brunch for my sister-in-law. I made gingerbread girl-shaped petit fours and sent home gingerbread truffles as favors. I'll try to post pictures soon!

I guess when you first start to blog you have to start at square one. I feel like right now I'm writing to thin air, since no one even knows about my blog yet! I suppose just to get used to this blogging thing, I'll take the words of advice I give to my seven year old. Just write... even if it's just a few words.


Let me, first off, introduce to you my favorite students...

My biggest little man is 7 years old and in second grade. He is smart, active, and very curious. He wants to know how everything works, and why.

My middle man is 3 years old, and in preschool. He loves art, learning to read, and running....everywhere! He really enjoys schooltime.

Babyman just turned 1. He likes eating, walking, and following his brothers everywhere. He is learning to join us for school, and has been known to chew a stray pencil or crayon.

It's a gloriously rainy day. What a great day to start my blog!
